There are many children in this complex and challenging world who are facing adversity daily. These children from hard places often struggle to meet educational goals due to circumstances beyond their control.   Yet, there exists a place of hope: a team of people who, together, can impact the lives of these children forever. Recognizing that education is a key to future success, the efforts of this team not only provide immediate comfort and care but also pave the way for lifelong achievements, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to realize their full potential.

And who comprises this team? It is made up of NMBCH houseparents, support staff, volunteers, prayer partners, and donors—individuals like you, joining together to make a lasting difference in the lives of these children.

The role of houseparents goes beyond mere caregiving to become pillars of stability and nurturing within the cottage. By providing a haven, they create a safe place, a foundation upon which academic pursuits can flourish. The NMBCH staff's commitment to providing a supportive environment enables children to focus on their studies with clarity and confidence, empowering them to overcome obstacles and strive for excellence.

Volunteers, too, play a pivotal role, generously offering their time and expertise to mentor and guide these children. Through their mentorship, they impart valuable knowledge and skills and serve as examples and inspirations for future success. Whether assisting with homework, sharing life experiences, or simply offering a listening ear, their presence fosters a sense of belonging and encourages academic growth.

Equally instrumental are our partners—those who faithfully lift our children and staff to the Lord daily and those who generously provide resources to support the needs of NMBCH.
