When October rolls in, our trailers roll out of the campus and are on their way to the Annual Associational Meetings. Our Fall Food Drive and the annual meetings coincide to create a month of sharing, encouragement, and hope.
Autumn is a time of abundance for us, not just in terms of supplies for our pantry but also in the form of heartwarming visits with our church partners. These meetings are not just about sharing updates but also about hearing how God is working in our communities and sharing our own stories of His work at the Children's Home. It's a chance to put faces to the names we see in our mail every month. We look forward to visiting with our church partners all year long.
As we unload the trailers and watch as our shelves fill up, we are reminded that our partners play a crucial role in creating rewritten futures. Your donations not only provide needed food items but also security, stability, and love. Our children do not worry about where their next meal will come from; they do not stress that they will have to go to bed hungry, nor do they fear they will not be able to focus due to a rumbling tummy. Your support helps us provide an environment that leads to growth, learning, and ultimately to the only Hope that can make an everlasting change in their lives.
