In 4-H, they’re all part of shaping confident, capable young people through hands-on learning and real-world experiences. In October, during the Baptist Convention of New Mexico’s Annual Meeting, I had the privilege of sharing the Children’s Home's annual report. It was a sweet opportunity to reflect on the lives touched and futures rewritten through the love and support of our partners. This summary captures the key points from that report.

At its most basic level, the purpose of New Mexico Baptist Children’s Home and Family Ministries is to be a conduit of grace in which we get to see God do what only God can do in so many lives. Whether it is to the children who call this place home or the adults who come to us for help, we aim to be agents of God’s grace for them all. We want to be used by Him to show people the power of His gospel and the grace it brings.

When October rolls in, our trailers roll out of the campus and are on their way to the Annual Associational Meetings. Our Fall Food Drive and the annual meetings coincide to create a month of sharing, encouragement, and hope.
